Graduates

Once participants have completed a group or a one to one 8 week MBSR course, they will still be able to receive ongoing encouragement and support if they wish to.

I offer various events for past participants, to nurture and deepen their mindfulness practice. Most of them report that practising in a group from time to time does strengthen their practice or renew their commitments.

Retreats

All day retreats offer a great opportunity to deepen our understanding and practice of mindfulness. We offer three types of retreats for Graduates:

Drop in Meditation

RECENT POSTS

Graduates are most welcome to join the Drop in Meditation Sessions held every Wednesday 6-7pm in the Chapel at Cowdray Hall.

These sessions are a good addition to the refresher meetings. Participants report that their practice feels deeper in a group than when meditating on their own, the benefits permeate through their week. Group meditation also encourages and strengthens our daily mindfulness practice. These sessions are free of charge

Refresher Sessions

These sessions are like a mini retreat for anyone who has completed an 8 week MBSR/MBCT course. We practice various mindfulness meditations including mindful movements (Qigong and Yoga) and exploring experiences of our practice in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

These sessions are held at the chapel at Cowdray Hall, on the 1st Monday of each month 7-9pm. Advance booking by email or through the booking system on this website. The fee is £15 (£10Conc) Limited to 8 people.

One to one and private follow up sessions:

Some graduates prefer to have a one to one refresher session or a small group session within their own group course. These are held in the Cowdray Therapy Rooms. Please contact us for more details.

"Mindfulness is to be attentive to the present moment, with curiosity, openness and non-judgment. It means to be aware of what we are doing while we are doing it, rather than being dragged away in the past or the future, or driven by our habitual patterns, or caught up in thoughts and stories."
